The ‘Database’ tab;
1) Connects to your database
2) Rates the level of documentation on the structural elements of
your database, and
3) Rates the quality of your database's design.
This is very handy for a DBA
with a responsibility for a large number of developments to be able to quickly
access how well documented the structure elements of your database.
Shows you where documentation is missing.
Chase Guthrie says:
"I love the idea of a central location to
collect domain knowledge. Keeping it all in your head means there is typically 1 or 2 people that can support, and
outside of the architect, support is typically incomplete because much can be
left open for interpretation." |
